The launching ceremony of CKD supplies project of Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. was held in TEDA recently. 

Tianjin FAW Toyota sets to build a 26,000-square-meter supply plant and living infrastructure covering over 3,000 square meters. The new plant, estimated to be completed in August 2012, is dedicated to manufacturing parts and components of over 10 automobile series that Tianjin FAW Toyota used to produce. Equipments are scheduled to be put into place in September 2012. The plant, put into operation in May 2013, is expected to register 2 billion yuan of annual output value and create 500 new jobs. Since the founding, Tianjin FAW Toyota has kept reinvesting and the output value has been climbing up. In 2010, Tianjin FAW Toyota paid 10.786 billion yuan of taxes. By the end of 2010, Toyota had paid total amount of taxes of 41.774 billion yuan.
