The 4th Tianjin-Taiwan Investment Cooperation Forum was grandly unveiled on July 7th at the Meijiang Convention & Exhibition Center. On the same day??Vice Chairman Ni Xiangyu of TEDA (Nangang Industrial Zone) Administrative Commission signed two strategic cooperation agreements on behalf of TEDA with Master Kong Holdings and China Prosper Investment respectively.

According to Master Kong Holdings plan Master Kong Beverage (China) Investment Co.Ltd. will be established in TEDA with an initial registered capital of 30 million US dollars. Based on the new entity Master Kong will launch an integration of its beverage plants. After the integration Master Kong Beverage will become the national headquarters for Master Kong’s beverage business and its total investment will reach 280 million US dollars.

Another Taiwan giant China Prosper Investment plans to set up a commercial real estate investment fund with a total capitalization of 3 billion yuan (to begin with 800 million yuan). It also plans to set up a RMB fund with a planned scale of 2 to 3 billion yuan for small and medium-sized Taiwan companies with investment ambitions in Chinese mainland.
